More Reports from the NYC premiere of Prince Caspian, including a clip and print report from by MTV, where Anna and Ben speak about the romantic plot between their two characters: <--pic from BenBarnesOnline.net! 'Chronicles Of Narnia: Prince Caspian' Stars Get Royal Red-Carpet Treatment As They Defend Movie's Romantic Twist ...If Barnes did go online again, he'd see that much of the prerelease chatter about "Prince Caspian" has been about a new element that the filmmakers contributed: a romance between Caspian and Susan. Barnes said he initially shared the concerns of many die-hard Narnia fans: "I was deeply concerned about [the romance]." Director Andrew Adamson carefully defended the plot addition. "I think it's very sensitively handled," he said. "The kids are growing up. If you look at Ben and you look at Anna, it seems really implausible that they wouldn't have some feelings for each other." Moseley is confident that the change only helps Lewis' story. "I think it's a much-needed addition," he said. "It adds a sweet, nostalgic touch." But will it be the kind of change that fans can accept? Adamson was all optimism as he walked the final steps of the red carpet. "I think the Narnia fans are going to be happy," he told MTV News with conviction...

When we told Anna Popplewell that some people were nervous about the Caspian kiss, she exclaimed: "Me most of all!" She said she was glad that the flirting had been removed from the final cut of the film, so that the kiss was more of an impetuous thing rather than a running theme. @ Narniaweb

The world premiere of The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian took place tonight, May 7th at the famed Ziegfeld theatre in New York City. Arrivals began at 7:00 pm...more as it comes!






Report 1 - Daily Mail: "Anna Popplewell, 19, looks like a Keira Knightley in the making, in her stunning red gown, radiating old Hollywood glamour. Whereas 20-year-old William Moseley, who plays elder brother Peter, looks much like a young Jude Law."

Anna and the Prince Caspian cast attended the special event at Barnes and Nobles in New York City last night. This included a meet and greet, signing, and press. They all look lovely, but I must say Georgie definitely gets the award for most changed!

The general gist of it is this:

Anna Popplewell was adorable and pleasant and smiling after an hour of signing books. Georgie Henley was quiet, and looked a little tired and miserable. (I sympathize. Her hand was probably about ready to fall off.) William Moseley and Ben Barnes were both still all smiles and jokes. I had a small conversation with William Moseley, that went essentially as follows:

Me: You guys must be getting pretty tired of signing things by now.
WM: Well, it could be worse. We're lucky to have such great fans.
Me: Or crazy ones.
WM: We're the really crazy ones.
Me: Well, that's good to know!


Additionally, there was reportedly a screening that included cast and crew at the El Capitain in NYC recently, fantasia_kitty @ Narniaweb:

We were divided into four groups and I was in Group 2. We rotated through the cast and crew interviews and each interview was about 15 minutes. (Interviewees were Georgie Henley and Will Moseley, Andrew Adamson, Chris Markus and Stephen McFeely, Mark Johnson, Ben Barnes, and finally Anna Popplewell and Peter Dinklage.)
