Absolutely Anna

This is an absolute rumor (could be completely false) but there has been gossip about Anna possibly having a role in a film called Hanna. Hanna comes out in 2011 and so far the only confirmed cast are Cate Blanchett, Saiorse Ronan, and Eric Bana. Here is the description on the film’s IMDB:

A 14-year-old who was raised by her father to be a cold-hearted killing machine connects with a French family who look to help ease her into a more conventional life.

I can definitely see Anna playing a member of the French family since she’s so good with accents (hear her American one). It would be awesome if she was really in it, but only time will tell for sure — she’s said she wants to finish her Oxford degree first.

No new LFW photos, but I did find a couple more from previous fashion week seasons, which you can see in the latest uploads. I also had a chance to view Madeline on DVD, which was rumored that Anna was uncredited as one of the young actresses — unfortunately I’m pretty sure it was just a look-a-like. Great movie though !

Anna attended the Elliot J. Frieze show at London Fashion Week this year.  She has been a big supporter of the designer attending the last few fashion shows (Anna attended the last 2 QASIMI fashion shows Spring/ Summer ‘09 & Fall/ Winter ‘09). Frieze was the former director of QASIMI and Michiko Koshino.

I’ve been looking fervently for more photos and have unfortunately come up short, which is a shame — especially because Anna apparently looked stunning . There is a video of the runway show, which Anna could be in. I think that might be Anna on the left corner closest to the models’ entrance, but it’s just too dim to tell! Likewise, there a couple pics – possibly the back of Anna’s head? Ok I really hope this is really Anna Popplewell — (and not like another anna popplewell cause like..her name’s anna popplewell too ) because this is absolutely hilarious! On Cherwell.org, which is Oxford University’s Student news and reviews Independent website, there is a podcast called Out of Breath Podcasts: Lives of an Artist , which is an audio clip of a satire of an American teenage actress, voiced by Anna. The clip is hilarious, and if it really is our Anna, really proves her talent and versatality as an actress (not just a Narnia star). We know Anna can do an American accent from her Rachael Ray interview, but I am relectunt because it just doesn’t sound anything like her . . . but thats the point right ? What do you think?

As you can see, the new layout is finally here. We had many setbacks, including the graphics maker announced earlier backing out and being very bogged with time constraints. But it’s finally here, and all the pages are back up and updated with all the latest Anna-facts. Heather has been doing an amazing job while we were away, revamping the style section and adding detailed new looks, exact matches, bargains, and more!

The truth of the matter of the lack of updates on my part, however, is that Anna just isn’t active in the film world right now. As we know Anna is finishing up reading English at Oxford, which is great! While she attends an appearance every now and then, her focus is not in the industry. Whether she goes back to acting after graduating as she has said is one thing, but at the moment there is just not going to be as much updates due to lack of activity with Anna!

However, I have been updating and re-adding older photos and content. I recently re-capped Anna’s 2001 film ‘Me Without You.’ Anna plays a young girl named Marina growing up in the 1970’s with an ostentatious mother and a hard-working father. The story is about Marina and her best friend (later played by Anna Friel and Michelle Williams) growing up in London, and the trials and tribulations of their friendship. I recommend the movie, however a note that it is Rated R for language, sexual content and drug use:
